Q: How does the Natural-Laxer Mix work? 
A: Natural-Laxer MIX is 100% natural and chemical free. It acts as a hair strengthener and gentle relaxer. It does not permanently alter the structure of the hair. Natural-Laxer Mix gently opens up the natural curl/wave pattern making hair more manageable. Because it is non-caustic and mild, Natural-Laxer MIX is safe for home application and is an excellent alternative for young black, ethnic, or bi-racial children and all textured hair-types.
 
The combination of specially selected sun-dried herbs not only strengthen the hair but give it luster (rose petals). The Natural-Laxer product and Sahara Clay are not caustic chemicals and therefore do not break down the molecular structure of the hair. The pH of the mixture is relatively neutral, when compared with chemical perms. They do not permanently alter the hair. The effect they have on the hair is temporary (lasting up to several weeks). Then, they simply wear off. There is no transitioning process to get back to "natural" hair. The hair remains natural. However they make the hair more manageable by slightly loosening the wave or curl pattern. Sahara Clay, when added to the herbs, further adds to the smoothing & manageablility.
Q: How "straight/"relaxed" will my hair get? 
A: The Natural-Laxer Mix will slightly loosen the natural wave pattern of the hair. And, it is a gradual process. So, you will see more loosening after the second and third applications. But, it will only go to a certain point. Generally, after the third use or so, the product has done what it will do and subsequent applications will maintain the result.
Q: Do I have to add Rose water to the Natural-Laxer Mix? 
A: Natural-Laxer Rose Water is recommended for best results but tepid tap water can be added as an alternative.
Q: How often do I have to apply the Natural-Laxer Mix? 
A: Generally, three initial applications are recommended. One application per 7-10 days for three weeks or so. Then, one application every 4-8 weeks, or as needed. Applying more often will not harm your hair. The reason for three initial applications is that is the amount it generally takes to see the full effects of the Natural-Laxer. Because the product is all natural and mild, for most people, it does not make an immediate, drastic change to the appearance of the hair.
